"You know, in the old days, when the power went out, you could read
a book."
I'm flying to England soon for Milford, and have stored several books on my
iPad. I'll be bringing a couple of paper books, too, so I'll have something
to read during takeoff and landing. :-)

I will. For one thing, I'm going to get to see Durham Cathedral. And Chaz will
be cooking, which is always a treat.

VERY nice!

Alas, I don't think I know Chaz.

Chaz Brenchley, who has a bunch of crime novels in England and writes fantasy
as Daniel Fox here. He came over with one of my Milford friends to stay with
me for World Fantasy (seeing as it was about five minutes away from my new house,
I hosted some people). He's a very good cook. You'd like him.

Seriously, though: I do find that when I like and -respect the judgment- of
a person, I will usually like the same people they do.
